This restaurant is amazing!! Would give 1000 ⭐ if I could. We had only one meal in Anchorage during our trip and after reading the reviews and local recommendations online we decided to go here and I'm so glad we did. The food is phenomenal, you gotta have the tuna nachos and the halibut and chips, they're amazing!! The yak burger and chicken wings were also phenomenal. Of course, the drinks were also fantastic, shout out to the 907 Pale Ale and the raspberry lemonade. And the service was great, our waiter Pawan was the best and the manager was constantly checking all tables to make sure everyone was having a great time. We hope to come back here sometime in the future.

49th State brewing is a staple of downtown Anchorage, and lives up to the hype. It gets REALLY busy here, but the staff managed it well. The bottom floor is open seating, and we found a spot for two immediately. We started off with the seafood chowder, and it was one of the best chowders I've ever had. Tons of salmon, clam, and halibut. Unbelievably good. For entrees we had the yak burger and halibut fish and chips, everything was delicious. Would definitely recommend

49th State Brewing is a must-visit in Alaska but it requires reservation. I tried the Sleeping Lady Burger and it was honestly one of the best, very juicy and full of flavor. I also had the Mac n Cheese, and it was pure comfort food; so creamy and rich.
Everything was top-notch, from the service to the mountain vibes. If you’re in Anchorage this place is a classic for a reason. Highly recommend

My friend and I had dinner here and the whole experience was fantastic. From the moment we walked in, the staff were great. The woman who checked us in was funny and personable, the guy who escorted us upstairs was friendly and welcoming, and our waitress was excellent.
Our server was knowledgeable, quick, and really attentive the whole time. Our drinks stayed filled and when an appetizer ended up being a little too spicy for me, they were happy to adjust it and personalize it to my taste. That kind of service really stands out.
The atmosphere was comfortable, the menu had tons of great options, and the food was delicious. I even brought leftovers home and already plan on coming back again.
Really great experience all around.

A local brewery offering an impressive variety of excellent craft beers, this spot features an expansive menu with unique Alaskan choices like elk stew, yak burgers, various crab dishes, etc. Over several visits, the food quality has consistently exceeded expectations. The warm wooden decor with some open fire pits creates cozy ambiance, while the staff provides efficient and courteous service. Definitely worth visiting - it appears to be a popular hub for evening activity in town. Reservation is recommended on Friday and weekend nights.

In my opinion, this is the best restaurant in Anchorage. The food is delicious, the service is excellent, and the attention to detail is outstanding. During my stay, I visited three times—each time I considered trying another place but kept coming back because of the quality and consistency. While many restaurants in Anchorage don’t have the best ratings, this one truly stands out. I highly recommend it—the food is amazing, and the blueberry pie is an absolute must-try.

No complaints about my experience here! The elk burger is absolutely phenomenal. The salmon fish and chips were also great. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. Plenty of seating so our party of 8 was seated after a short wait. Happy with the visit and would consider going again if I am in Anchorage again!

I visited 48th Street Brewing in downtown Anchorage, AK, and really enjoyed the overall experience. The menu had some very interesting choices you don’t usually find in the lower 48. I tried the bison chili and a yak burger—definitely an experience. Both meats were very lean, especially the yak. While it wasn’t my favorite, it wasn’t terrible either and I’m glad I tried it. The restaurant itself was great, and the atmosphere was lively and welcoming.

While visiting Anchorage I was able to come to 49th state brewing multiple times. The beautiful Alaskan King crab was superb and the elk lasagna were both great picks! I have also had their calamari, deep fried halibut and blackened halibut tacos. Everything I have eaten here has been great. The views on a clear day are also beautiful! Beers are great and staff are super friendly!

Finally went to this place after living here for a couple of years now. I don’t drink much so never had a reason to visit but glad I did. I came here for my anniversary. Amazing atmosphere, super chill even for a large restaurant. Service was excellent. Everything about this place was awesome. Highly recommend visiting, even if you don’t drink. Get the Elk burger and the chocolate mousse for dessert.
